Introducing Linton
Bio
Linton started learning the pipes aged 6 and was fortunate to be taught by William M Macdonald of Inverness, a multiple Piobaireachd World Champion during the 1950s.
Linton continued to play the pipes until age 18 as a hobby but stopped when he went off to university in 2004.
During lockdown, Linton met up with a piper friend and asked if he could have a go at his bagpipes having not played in 17 years. After a successful first attempt, Linton realised he could still play at a good standard thus igniting his passion once again to the Great Highland Bagpipes.
