Patrick commenced his bagpiping career in 2009 with a top grade pipe band in Chicago. During that time he has competed at a high level all over the world, including the World Pipe Band Championships where he was successful in grade 3a, this was an excellent achievement. Honing his craft to the next level, Patrick moved to Scotland for 2 years and joined the Midlothian Scottish Pipe Band. Here he was able to master his skill even further and moved into grade 2, an accolade to be proud of.
Picking up multiple solo awards at grade 2, including the Midwest Pipe Band Association Champion Supreme award, Patrick has proven himself to be a top level piper.

What made you learn?
“Patrick first started learning the bagpipes in 2008. He plays many instruments and considered the bagpipes a unique idiom of music compared to saxophone, guitar or whistle, this was the hook to keep Patrick intrigued. Plus he gets to wear a kilt”
