Introducing Thomas

Bio

Thomas joined his first pipe band when he was 12 years old, and at the time, the drum corps poached him to learn the side drum. He enjoyed it, but he still had a burning desire to pick up the pipes, and so after about 12 months of drumming, Thomas started on the pipes. He was lucky in that he was still at school and was able to travel with the band. Thomas has performed all over the world including Sweden, Holland, Belguim, Ukraine, Italy, France, Germany, Liechtenstein, and has played at several high-profile engagements in this country, Including the St Pancras Hotel for ‘Suggs’ (from Madness), and the Birmingham Tattoo at the NEC. Thomas now plays with a top grade 4 Pipe Band, and performs in Solo competitions.

“Thomas has had a love for the pipes, and pipe bands for as long as he can remember. He can remember marching up and down wearing the carpet out in front of the Edinburgh Tattoo on the TV. Thomas saw a local pipe band perform in his town when he was about 12 and the rest is history”
