Bio
Conway started learning and playing the Great Highland Bagpipe at the age of 14 and has successfully competed in Pipe Bands since then, both locally and internationally, and at the highest level. Over the years he has performed at a vast array of events, including, weddings, corporate events, birthdays, funerals, memorials and has even played on stage at countless music festivals across the rock and folk scene. Conway has also performed at a high level in many solo piping competitions.
Conway enjoys performing and will always do his best to meet the requirements of the event brief. He is the perfect choice to bring the sound of the bagpipes to your event.

What made you learn?
“Conway was initially interested because his great grandfather had been a well-known piper and instrument maker. Once Conway started at the age of 13, he quickly became obsessed and loved the challenge of learning the instrument. Playing with a full band just made that obsession grow even more. You can’t beat the sound and feeling of standing in a circle with pipers and drummers when all are perfectly in-tune and playing together! More than 20 years later and Conway is still going strong, admitting that he sometimes wishes he had picked up something easier… like the tambourine”
