Bio

The City of London Pipe Band is a group of experienced bagpipers and drummers who compete and perform at a very high level. Ideal for a variety of events or performances, the band will bring a unique flair and sound to your event giving it the gravitas it so deserves.

Away from the competition arena, the band boasts vast experience performing at a wide range of events, including; corporate functions, weddings, civil parades, university graduations, carnivals, community festivals, Remembrance Day parades and Christmas gatherings.

The band can offer a high quality bespoke experience which will have audiences enthralled and wanting more. Boasting an extensive repertoire made up of traditional well-known Scottish melodies, competition sets, modern medleys and original compositions and arrangements, the band is sure to bring a sound that will rouse all types of audiences far and wide. Whether your event requires a static mini-band or an impressive full band marching display, The City of London Pipe Band are confident in providing a great experience for all to enjoy.

Established in 2015, The City of London Pipe Band is a young, London-based, leading musical organisation currently competing at grade 2 level, with a vision to build the most successful, inclusive and innovative pipe band organisation in England.

Legacy

To build a self-sustaining Pipe Band capable of competing at a high level with the long-term objective of promotion to and preserving a status in Grade 1.
