Introducing Grant
Bio
Grant grew up in the North West Highlands, near the Isle of Skye, and was fortunate enough to have a multiple World Champion piper come to his school to teach. Having been steady in the competition circuit in his younger years, Grant gained a solid base to his piping. Having played his pipes throughout university, he took them to the USA upon graduation, where he was exposed to the international love of the bagpipes.
In the last 8 years, Grant has gained a large social media following by taking his pipes on his many adventures around the Scottish highlands. This exposure has led to many opportunities, including invitations to play at weddings, birthdays, corporate functions and even wild elopement weddings within Scotland’s beautiful mountain range. On his travels he has also been privileged to regularly perform with a fun tribal band called Clann an Drumma. Grant has also played internationally in Austria, Portugal, New York and Lithuania to name a few.

What made you learn?
“Having grown up in the Highlands of Scotland, I always fascinated by the sound of the pipes. It never occurred to me that I could learn myself, until a school mate started, and therefor, I jumped at the chance”
