  • Played for HRH Princess Anne at the Edinburgh City Chambers
  • Grade 2 Scottish & British Champions 2025 with Uddingston Pipe Band
  • Grade 2 Scottish Champions 2024 with Uddingston Pipe Band
  • Grade 2 British Champions 2023 with Dumfries & Galloway Constabulary Pipe Band
  • Performed an original composition with the Clan Currie Society at The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo
  • Playing alongside his son with Grade 1 band, Vale of Atholl

What made you learn?


“Stuart left the Cub Scouts at 10 yrs old in 1980, walked past his local Pipe Band hall in Kirkcudbright on his way home, and wandered in for a listen. Stuart started lessons that week and nearly 44 years later he’s still at it”
